MacAdam, Jane
Senator Jane MacAdam, appointed to the Senate of Canada in May 2023, is a seasoned Chartered Professional Accountant with over 40 years of experience in legislative auditing. She served as the Auditor General of Prince Edward Island from 2013 to 2020, where she led independent audits and examinations to promote accountability in government operations. A dedicated public servant, she has contributed to various professional organizations, including the Canadian Council of Legislative Auditors and the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation. Senator MacAdam has also been actively involved in her community through volunteer work. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island and was awarded the Fellow designation from CPA Prince Edward Island.
