About Poliforum
As an entrepreneur, I became frustrated by the lack of tools or methods available to me to participate in the political arena. I don't have an audience, an enticing policy platform nor do I represent a particular group. I simply wanted:

An online forum of verified citizens, people like me, who are concerned about the direction we heading and want to hear what everyone else thinks.
My vision for Poliforum is to create a platform that is true to the fundamental beliefs we all hold as Canadians. Those values are not encoded here, there is no algorithm and no censorship - just value driven decisions that went in to creating each feature. These features cross many domains of public life (government, legislation, economics, business, news and media) just as a conversation would, I feel these conversations should be informed, within context and open to all. This website offers us this new opportunity to take these conversations to all Canadians and develop this body of research together to help align towards a shared vision of a better country, without the influence of outside voices or interests.
How it Started

How does Poliforum make money?Our Funding & Future Poliforum is currently funded solely by its founder. This will remain the case until we reach a critical mass of verified users. At that point, we’ll decide together—as a community—how best to monetize the platform in order to expand our reach globally, with the goal of eventually serving users in every country. There are three primary ways most websites generate revenue, and we are considering the following: Advertising – Thoughtfully integrated ads can provide honest revenue while preserving the core user experience. Paid Subscriptions – Organizations will have the option to subscribe for access to premium tools, share their mission, and engage directly with the Poliforum audience. We make this clear commitment to our users: Your data is yours. We will never sell or share your private information. Not now, not ever. Your personal data is your property, and Poliforum will never use it without your explicit knowledge and consent. We’re building this platform with integrity—and with you.
