Rate Your Politician
The private sector rates many services like food delivery, hotels and customer service calls. However, we do not rate our elected officials. With Poliforum's reviewing system, citizens participate in democracy by voicing their thoughts and feelings through constructive feedback that is a valuable indicator for these officials. These reviews serve as a feedback loop both for citizens and for the government.

Aaron Gunn
Aaron Gunn, elected Conservative MP for North Island—Powell River in 2025, is a former Canadian Army Reservist, former director at the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, and conservative media personality known for his online series "Politics Explained." He gained national attention for his criticism of government spending and opposition to "cancel culture," as well as for controversial statements about Indigenous issues that were condemned by local First Nations leaders. Despite being previously blocked from a provincial nomination, his federal campaign succeeded by appealing to fiscally conservative and populist voters.

- Loui DombowskyNov 27, 2025Rated 4 out of 5 stars.Aaron shows bravery and speaks his mind. Good leadership but should be tactful when dealing with sensitive issues.
He is well spoken in the house around affordability, representing his constituents needs and highlighting fraud on the federal level and in BC his own province.

I watched Aaron's documentary last year before he ran and really appreciated the depth of this research and his tenacity to go after a story as big as this. Was excited to see him represent his community as an MP.
Good to see MPs calling out the PM for keeping his promises. Keep this coming.
