Roman Baber
Roman Baber is the Conservative MP for York Centre in Ontario, elected on April 28, 2025. Born on August 9, 1980, in Leningrad, Soviet Union, Baber immigrated to Israel at age eight and then to Canada at 15. He previously served as an Ontario MPP for York Centre from 2018 to 2022. Baber is a lawyer by profession and has been an outspoken critic of COVID-19 lockdown measures.
