Will Greaves
Dr. Wilfrid (Will) Greaves is a Liberal Member of Parliament for Victoria, elected on April 28, 2025. Before entering politics, he was an Associate Professor of International Relations at the University of Victoria, specializing in global politics, climate change, Arctic geopolitics, and Indigenous affairs. Greaves holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Toronto, an M.A. from the University of Calgary, and a B.A. (Honours) from Bishop’s University. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and has co-edited two books: "Breaking Through: Understanding Sovereignty and Security in the Circumpolar Arctic" and "One Arctic: The Arctic Council and Circumpolar Governance." His research has been supported by various federal agencies, including the Department of National Defence and Global Affairs Canada.
